Answering Student Questions

Share Tweet Reddit

DonateSome Skeptoid episodes are dedicated to questions sent in by students. Ask me anything you want to know about. I won't just give you an answer: I'll also try to explain the process for finding the right answer.

Questions should be about skeptical topics: science vs. pseudoscience, urban legends, consumer frauds, alternative medicine, etc. No politics, religion, value judgments, or attacking an individual or company by name.

To participate, just grab the voice memo function on your smartphone (or whatever recording device you prefer) and ask your question. If you don't want to use your name, you don't have to. Give me as much of this information as you feel comfortable, but none of it is required:

I'm Jane Rocketgirl from the XYZ science club at ABC School in New York NY, age 16, and my question is...are ghosts real?

Please no sound effects or music or anything — just your question in clear spoken English. After your question, please add:

My name is [your true full legal name] and I grant Skeptoid Media all rights to this recording.

Email that file to studentquestions@skeptoid.com and you are good to go!
