Privacy Policy

Updated October 2021

What information do we collect?

We collect only data that you proactively provide in order to receive a requested service. For example, we store your email address if you request to receive certain emails from us, or make a donation in order to provide receipts and required tax information. We store your mailing address if you request an item to be mailed. We store an alternate contact method if you provide one in the event there is a problem with a transaction.

For supporters making donations, we do store tokens required for communication with payment processors. These are secure, encrypted, unique, do not contain any information that can be traced to you or to any financial accounts, and cannot be used by any other party. We log all such transactions in accordance with relevant laws.

We do not collect or store passwords, credit cards, or other financial information, nor do we collect or store any social media tracking data or persistent identifiers.

All information is protected with appropriate physical and electronic security measures.

How do you use that information?

Information that we collect is used only to fulfill requested services, e.g., if you provide a mailing address when you request an item be mailed to you, we will use the mailing address for that purpose only. Email addresses are used to communicate with you only for communications you have opted in to receive.

What information do you share?

We do not share or sell any of your information to any third party for any reason. Ever.

How can I delete my data?

If you would like your account and any associated personal data deleted from our system, email a request to help@skeptoid.com.
