There's an episode of Futurama ["Fry and the Slurm Factory"] with a great bit about homeopathic medicine:

One character suggests to another that he try some homeopathic remedies. A third character (The Professor) counters, "or a big fat placebo...it's all the same crap anyway."

Of course, it's much better if you see it than read it!!
